The Story of Sioux Creek
Where Tradition Meets Technology
A Modern Classic Designed and built in the 1990s, Sioux Creek was crafted for golfers who truly love the game. While some courses rely on 100-year-old history, we lean into our modern Par 36 layout—featuring championship-caliber turf, strategic water hazards, and a routing that winds through the natural Wisconsin timber. It’s a serious test of golf, but with a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere that makes every player feel like a local.
Driven by Innovation
We believe that a “relaxed vibe” shouldn’t mean “old-fashioned service.” That’s why we’ve invested in industry-leading technology to ensure your time on the grass is as smooth as possible:
The Fleet
Last year, we introduced a brand-new fleet of Yamaha Golf Carts. These highly modernized, user-friendly vehicles offer the smoothest ride in the region, ensuring you stay comfortable from the 1st tee to the 9th green.
Pace of Play (Tagmarshal)
Every cart in our fleet is equipped with Tagmarshal screens. This technology allows our team to monitor the flow of the course in real-time. By using data to improve the pace of play, we eliminate bottlenecks and ensure your round stays on track and enjoyable.
The Digital Clubhouse
We’ve implemented the TenFore Tee Sheet, a modernized and intuitive booking system. Whether you are booking from your desktop or your phone in the parking lot, getting on the course is faster and easier than ever.
Course Health & Stewardship
Our commitment to technology extends beneath the surface. We use advanced data and monitoring tools to track course health, allowing our grounds team to apply precise care to our turf. This “tech-forward” approach to agronomy ensures that Sioux Creek remains the Best Golf Course in Barron County (2025), season after season.
The Experience
From the iconic crossing of Jay’s Covered Bridge to the challenge of our own ‘Amen Corner’ stretch, Sioux Creek offers a premium experience without the country club price tag. We’ve built a destination where high-end turf and high-tech tools meet small-town hospitality.
