This prestigious award celebrates the dedication of so many, all building on the remarkable vision of Lee Johnson and Rita Hong, Sioux Creek’s designers and developers. Imagine: an abandoned farm transformed into a golfer’s paradise in 1993. That’s the story of Sioux Creek.

But Sioux Creek is more than just a golf course; it’s an experience. Sioux Creek offers a stunning natural canvas: a sparkling 26-acre lake, the tranquil Chetek River, and peaceful marshes teeming with life. It’s a sanctuary for wildlife, too – graceful deer, majestic eagles, elegant sandhill cranes, and playful ducks all call Sioux Creek home. It’s truly a place where nature and recreation blend seamlessly.

Of course, at its heart, Sioux Creek is a golf course, and we’re passionate about its exceptional condition. Our 9-hole, par 36 course offers four sets of tees, ranging from 2979 to 1811 yards, ensuring a challenging and enjoyable experience for all skill levels. Our lush Kentucky Bluegrass fairways and quick Penncross Bent Grass greens are meticulously maintained.
